This is where it all started.

Before Top Shelf Cookies was a business, it was a superstition. Our founder Heather used to bring these cookies to The Fours — a legendary bar near Boston Garden — before every home game. That season, Boston won the championship. Coincidence? We'll let you decide.

We start with unsalted butter, dark brown sugar, and granulated sugar — creamed until fully combined. Then comes dark corn syrup for texture, egg whites, and pure Madagascar vanilla, mixed until smooth.

Next we fold in our signature cocoa blend — black cocoa and Dutch processed cocoa. Black cocoa is the same cocoa that gives Oreos their iconic color and depth. It's bold, rich, and unmistakably dark.

Then comes our dry mix — Vermont's own King Arthur flour, our custom blend of leaveners, and just enough salt to even things out. Finally, we load in peanut butter chips until every scoop is packed.

Each cookie is hand-scooped, rolled in sugar, and baked to a crackled, chewy finish — the cookie that started it all.
